The principle of operation of the device for loading grain into a railway car is as follows: an empty car with an open top hatch is installed under the LD-5 device. Telescopic pipes move down and sideways (if necessary) and enter the open hatches (upper) of the car. Grain from the hopper, by gravity, is fed through a flexible pipe into telescopic pipes, and from pipes into a carriage. With the help of drives for raising and lowering, deflection of pipes along the axis of the car, an optimal filling of the car with grain is achieved. After filling the car with grain, the telescopic pipes go up. The device is ready to fill the next car.
