Screw (worm) conveyer

Screw conveyers (worm conveyers) are intended for mechanical transportation of grain and its products under permanent installation conditions horizontally and at an angle.

The screw conveyer is installed in enclosed premises at ambient temperature from -40°С to +45°С.

The conveyer can be used for operation at mini-elevators, cereal reception points, and at other places for mechanical transportation of bulk cereal products.

Screw conveyers are divided into conveyers made in a “pipe” and conveyers made in a “groove.”

Technical specifications of the conveyers made in a “pipe” are provided in table 1 and of that in a “groove” are provided in table 2.

Conveyer drive in a “pipe” is a motor with V-belt drive and in a “groove” is a gear motor.

All screw conveyers have devices preventing product overflow.

Middle links (quantity depends on the conveyer length).

Loading and unloading manifolds.
The level switch is a device for shutting down the conveyer in case of overflow, which is installed on the section, from which the product is unloaded.

The product comes to the conveyer through the loading manifold, is transported by a rotating screw and unloaded through the unloading manifold.
